PHOENIX -- Two men are in custody after Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies seized 20 pounds of methamphetamine from a vehicle in west Phoenix.

Deputies said they arrested 26-year-old Juan Carlos Soto-Neris and 43-year-old Jorge Cecilio Bernal-Araujoon on Tuesday.

They said Soto-Neris was the driver, and inside the vehicle they found two bags of a white substance that tested positive for methamphetamine.

Deputies said the two had personal-identification documents issued in Mexico.

Both suspects have been booked into the downtown Phoenix jail on possession of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs for sale and transport for sale a dangerous drug.
