Tempe man on trial for killing girlfriends
PHOENIX -- A Tempe man is on trial this week for the fatal shooting of his girlfriend in 2010.
Wade Bradford also is charged in the 2006 death of a previous girlfriend whose body was found in 2011.
The Arizona Republic reported that both cases will be tried separately, and that jurors hearing testimony this week will not be informed of the other charges after a judge found it could prejudice the panel.
Bradford said the 2010 shooting of Natalie Allan was an accident.
Separately, he is charged with murder of a previous girlfriend who disappeared in 2006. Her body was found in 2011.
Bradford told authorities that woman had left him after she was reported missing.
