PHOENIX -- A not-guilty plea has been entered for a former strip club employee who was accused of masterminding a plot to rob his former employer.
A resulting holdup led to a shooting in which a Phoenix police officer and a volunteer sheriff's posse member were wounded.
A Maricopa County Superior Court spokeswoman said the plea was entered for Jason Beau Keep after he waived appearing in court Wednesday.
Keep is charged with armed robbery.
Two other men also are charged in the case, and a fourth is being sought.
