Retrial for Jodi Arias sentencing to start March 17

PHOENIX — The sentencing trial of Jodi Arias has been scheduled to start March 17, said the Maricopa County Superior Court.
An official court tweet went out late Monday morning.
Jury selection will begin on March 17 in State v Jodi Arias.

A mistrial was declared in May after a jury failed to reach a unanimous decision in the penalty phase. Arias was convicted of the murder of her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander in May 2013.
Arias had claimed self-defense in the killing.
Sine then, the defense has tried to move the trial out of Phoenix but a judge denied that and also banned live media coverage of the sentencing.
Since then proceedings have been sparsely updated.
