PRESCOTT, Ariz. -- A Prescott woman is in custody for allegedly assaulting her teenage daughter at the family's home.

Prescott police say 38-year-old Lisa Lugo was arrested early Monday.

She's been booked into the Yavapai County Jail on suspicion of felony charges of aggravated assault, child abuse and a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.

Police say Lugo allegedly slammed her 14 year-old daughter against a door and grabbed both of her arms- leaving scratches, bruises and abrasions.

They say Lugo's 10 year-old daughter witnessed part of the alleged assault.

Police say Lugo was uncooperative and verbally abusive toward them and also appeared to be intoxicated.

They say she took a breath test and had a blood-alcohol level of .209 percent.

Police didn't immediately know Monday afternoon if Lugo has legal representation yet.
