PHOENIX — Firefighters were able to save the life of one dog after pulling two from a burning home in Glendale over the weekend.
The dogs were taken from the home near 14600 N. 59th Drive after it caught fire on Sunday.
One of the dogs survived. The other fell victim to smoke inhalation, despite the firefighters’ use of a FIDO bag, specifically designed to resuscitate dogs.
