PHOENIX (AP) -- Authorities say a Phoenix woman is accused of child abuse for allegedly leaving her infant daughter inside an apartment so she could go out drinking.

Police say Lyronda Tsosie's 1-year-old girl was found in a north Phoenix street about 2 a.m. Monday. They say the baby was barefoot and in a nightgown in 46-degree weather.

Phoenix TV station KPHO reports Tsosie admitted to drinking prior to leaving her home and told police she wanted to go get some more drinks.

When Tsosie returned to the apartment, police say she was extremely intoxicated and had a blood-alcohol level of .27 percent.

Arizona's legal limit is .08 percent.

Police say Tsosie's daughter apparently walked out the unlocked door.

Officers searched for several hours for the infant's parents before Tsosie was located.
