PHOENIX -- A 37-year-old man waiting to cross a street in north Phoenix was killed when he was struck by an SUV that had collided with another vehicle at an intersection.

Police said Cameron Matthew Hall died Monday evening when he was struck by a SUV that spun out of control following the collision.

Investigators believed Hall may have been pinned between the SUV and a light pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sgt. Steve Martos said neither driver was impaired.

The people in the vehicles suffered minor injuries.
