FLORENCE, Ariz. -- Pinal County authorities say two Coolidge men are in custody for reckless driving after they wove in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed.

County Sheriff's officials say 25-year-old Christopher Shoemaker and 22-year-old Angel Rivas Jr. were stopped Tuesday afternoon.

They say the men allegedly were driving their vehicles on State Route 287 in Casa Grande at more than 30 mph over the posted speed limit.

A sheriff's deputy says cocaine was found in plastic baggies in Rivas' pockets and a prescription bottle of Codeine was discovered in the car with the name of the patient removed.

Authorities say Rivas is facing an additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of a narcotic drug.

It's unclear if either man has a lawyer.
