FLORENCE, Ariz. -- A Mexican man living in the country illegally has been arrested after a high-speed chase with Pinal County authorities.

Sheriff's officials said Jesus Lozano-Vizcarra is being held on suspicion of felony flight. The suspect drove about 100 mph during part of the chase earlier this week.

Deputies said he told them that he paid his way back into the U.S. by transporting marijuana from Mexico into Arizona.
