PHOENIX -- A pedestrian was struck and killed on a Tempe freeway Tuesday night.

The accident happened shortly after 6 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the U.S. 60 near Dobson Road, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

The right two lanes are currently blocked near the site of the accident while crews investigate.

No other information was immediately available.
