PHOENIX -- A new sentencing date has been set for two lower-level managers of a Phoenix car-wash chain that's accused of immigration fraud in its hiring practices.

Antonio Jose Baca and Pedro Zoquitecatl-Flores are scheduled to be sentenced May 5.

They pleaded guilty to a federal conspiracy charge.

Both men are among the nine Family Car Wash managers who pleaded guilty in the case.

A July 10 trial has been set for other managers who pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.

Some lower-level managers who pleaded guilty have said in court that at least one higher-up within Danny's instructed them to rehire workers who had to be fired after a federal audit found nearly half of the company's 1,900-person workforce presented insufficient or ineligible records when they were hired.
