PHOENIX -- Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson, wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and several other players made a lot of kids smile Monday night at a Phoenix Walmart.

They surprised 50 underprivileged kids -- from an organization called A New Leaf -- with a shopping spree.

"I'm super excited," said 13-year-old Edward Alva. "I want to buy my mom a perfume or a ring."

Shop with a Jock is an annual holiday event that provides children with a night filled with fun, food, games and $100 to spend however the kids desire.
