No suspects, motive in smoke bomb at Phoenix hotel
PHOENIX -- Authorities still don't have any suspects or a possible motive after smoke bombs were thrown at a packed restaurant at a popular central-Phoenix hotel.
Police say the incident occurred about 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Clarendon Hotel and Spa.
Someone first threw rocks at Gallo Blanco, shattering the restaurant window and leaving one person with minor injuries.
The vandal or vandals then threw smoke bombs, which did not make it inside the restaurant.
Police say up to 75 people were dining inside at the time.
Hotel owner Ben Bethel is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
