ORO VALLEY, Ariz. -- Authorities say a woman is in custody for allegedly stealing items out of lockers at gyms and fitness clubs in the Tucson area.

They say 21-year-old Danielle Bratton was identified as a suspect in the cases and was arrested late last week.

Oro Valley police began investigating locker break-ins at the Oro Valley LA Fitness and Platinum Fitness gyms in November and investigators learned similar crimes occurred in Marana, Tucson, Pima County and the University of Arizona.

Bratton was seen entering an LA Fitness on Friday and was arrested by Tucson police.

Authorities say several items reported stolen from Oro Valley victims were allegedly found in Bratton's possession.

They say Bratton has been booked into the Pima County Jail for suspicion of probation violation and is facing additional charges.
