Several injured in Glendale car crash

PHOENIX — Five people were injured in a crash involving several vehicles in Glendale Sunday afternoon.
Michael Young of the Glendale Fire Department said a total of four cars were involved in the accident. He said a Toyota Prius was T-boned on the passenger side, seriously injuring an elderly couple.
The incident happened just before 3:30 p.m. in the intersection of 75th Avenue and Bell Road.
The intersection is expected to be closed for an extended period of time while crews investigate the cause of the accident.
