The team appointed by Gov. Jan Brewer last week reported Friday evening that all 119 cases have been assigned to investigators. In all, 1,440 cases are now assigned.
The so-called CARE team has found nearly 1,160 abuse and neglect reports ignored since 2009 had subsequent reports submitted to Child Protective Services. Police investigated other reports that aren't included in that count.
The team has identified 175 CPS staff they can assign and some will work through the weekend.
CPS has been in the spotlight since Department of Economic Security Director Clarence Carter revealed last month that thousands of cases requiring investigation had been closed.
