PHOENIX -- Authorities are searching for a suspect who allegedly shot and killed a man inside a Phoenix apartment and then fled the scene on foot.

Phoenix police say 19-year-old Lamuel Warren was the victim of Thursday morning's shooting.

Warren was shot in the chest and taken to a Phoenix hospital, where he later died.

Police say they're looking for 28-year-old Kheylon Tristan Cunningham in the case and he's considered armed and dangerous.

A woman and two young children were inside the apartment at the time of the 7 a.m. shooting, but all three escaped injury.

Investigators say Warren and Cunningham apparently know each other.

Police believe one of the men is the woman's current boyfriend and the other is her ex-boyfriend, but investigators are still sorting that out.
