PHOENIX — Two men have been arrested in the shooting death of a Glendale apartment maintenance employee.
Glendale police said 18-year-old Theodore Montgomery was arrested Friday after investigators received a tip that he might have been involved in the Dec. 3 murder of Douglas Elliott near 67th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.
Working with the Phoenix Police Department, Glendale police detained Montgomery in Phoenix and brought him in for questioning, according to Glendale Sgt. Jay O’Neill.
“That questioning led to the identification of some other subjects that were potentially involved in this incident that are still outstanding,” said O’Neill.
Following the interview and arrest of Montgomery, investigators arrested another male juvenile on charges related to the murder.
O’Neill said so far detectives don’t know the motive of the killing.
