MESA, Ariz. -- Three men jailed in Tennessee have been indicted on murder, kidnapping and armed robbery charges in the shooting of an Arizona man.

Mesa police said 22-year-old Zackary Burgess, 18-year-old Brandon Simon and 22-year-old Joseph Holt were indicted Wednesday in the Oct. 31 death of 36-year-old Brian Lee Weathers.

According to police, the three men were driving in a vehicle in which evidence linking them to the Arizona killing was found.

Police said the men were arrested on unrelated charges in Tennessee's Cheatham County and await extradition to Arizona.
