Man shoots roommate in east Glendale

PHOENIX — Two roommates got into an altercation at their residence Sunday evening, and one man shot the other, Phoenix police said.
Officer James Holmes said that the incident happened around 43rd and Sweetwater avenues in east Glendale.
The victim of the gunshot was taken to the hospital in critical condition, Holmes said. He added that the suspect has been taken into custody.
Holmes said he will release more information Monday morning.
