Arrest warrant issued for a Tucson robbery suspect

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Authorities say they're searching for a man who's wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a Tucson smoke shop.

Tucson police have issued an arrest warrant for 18-year-old Adrian Pride.

They say Pride has been identified as a suspect in the Nov. 12 robbery of the Maui Smoke Shop.

Police say a man entered the shop and demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint. The clerk refused to comply and the suspect fled.

Police say the suspect returned several hours later and threatened the clerk with a gun.

After fleeing a second time, the suspect got into a vehicle and fired several shots at the clerk as he left the area. There were no reported injuries.
