Police: 1 suspect arrested in Phoenix crime spree
PHOENIX -- One man is in custody and Phoenix police are searching for two other suspects in a robbery and hit-and-run case.
Phoenix police say 22-year-old Claude Glover was arrested Friday.
Officers received a call at 1 a.m. about two people robbed by three men at a west Phoenix convenience store.
At the scene, officers found a third victim who says she was robbed a few hours earlier by the same robbers.
Police believe the robbers lost control of their vehicle, crossed oncoming traffic and crashed it into a wall, seriously injuring two women.
While authorities were taking witness statements, the suspected robbers drove past the original crime scene and passed officers in a heavily-damaged vehicle.
The men later ditch the car and fled on foot before one of them was caught.
