PHOENIX -- A Glendale man is in custody accused of sexually assaulting two women he met on the Internet.

Maricopa County prosecutors said 40-year-old Ryan Robert Raths had his initial court appearance Tuesday and was being held without bond.

He's facing four counts of felony sexual assault.

Court documents listed Raths as an employee of the Washington Elementary School district.

Glendale police said Raths is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in September 2004 in an apartment where she went to meet him.

He's also accused of assaulting a 29-year-old woman at his apartment in October 2007.

Raths has a status conference in his case Friday and a preliminary hearing on Dec. 2.
