There is "one lucky dog" living in one Phoenix neighborhood, after firefighters found a trapped family pet while responding to a house fire.

At approximately 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning, the Phoenix Fire Department responded to a house fire near 7th Avenue and Coral Gables Drive.

As firefighters searched the home, they came across a lifeless dog.

Through rescue and resuscitation efforts, the dog began to move.

No injuries to firefighters or homeowners have been reported.
