Sky Harbor’s east cellphone lot temporarily moving

Sky Harbor’s Terminal 4 cellphone lot is taking a holiday — sort of.

From Nov. 22 until 6 a.m. on Dec. 4, the lot will be closed in the hopes of easing traffic congestion near the terminal.

In the interim, a much larger cellphone lot has been established on the northeast side of the airport. The temporary spot, north of the east economy parking lot, can handle more than four times the traffic.

The cellphone lot just west of Terminal 2 will remain open.
