CASA GRANDE, Ariz. -ó A 20-year-old Casa Grande man is in trouble after Pinal County sheriff's deputies found him flushing a large amount of marijuana down the toilet.

The county's narcotics task force was serving a search warrant at a home on North Center Avenue on Tuesday when they found Christopher Cruz in the bathroom.

The sheriff's office says Cruz was trying to flush nearly four pounds of marijuana. They also found two shotguns and a handgun in the home.

Cruz was booked on drug charges as well as misconduct involving weapons and destruction of evidence charges. He also faces two counts of endangerment since there were two children in the home.

Authorities say Cruz, who is being held without bond, has a prior felony conviction related to criminal damage.
