Angel blames devil for breaking into Pinal County home

PHOENIX -- Convicted felon Angel Meza blamed the devil for setting him up on burglary charges in Arizona City.

A woman called 911 Tuesday night after walking into her bedroom to find Meza, who escaped through a back door. Pinal County Sheriff's Deputies said they chased Meza through backyards as he was trying to load a round in the chamber of the handgun he'd just stolen.

Sheriff Paul Babeu said once Meza was in custody, he said, "the devil set him up" and blamed the devil for placing the stolen handgun on him.
