PHOENIX — A child who was ejected in a rollover accident Tuesday afternoon has died, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said.
Five people were injured Tuesday after an SUV driven by 36-year-old Jessica Roberds rolled over near Saguaro Lake.
Colin Williams with Rural Metro said the crash happened on just south of the Saguaro Lake Marina turnoff about 4 p.m.
Roberds was driving her four children when the SUV rolled multiple times after she lost control. She and three children were hospitalized as a precaution.
The 9-year-old boy was ejected during the crash. He was killed when the vehicle rolled over him.
The SUV landed on its roof.
