For DREAMers, the lawsuit against the Maricopa Community College District continues to be a nightmare, as Attorney General Tom Horne has filed a lawsuit which would keep qualified DREAMers from paying in-state tuition.

Hundreds of students and activists continue their efforts, most recently with a demonstration Tuesday night outside the AG's offices. Students, wearing graduation robes, set their high school diplomas on fire, symbolizing burned dreams.

"Of course he's listening. There's no way you can ignore this," said Raquel Guerrero, an activist. "It's not only going to impact my life, but the lives of so many people."

Elected governing boards at both Maricopa and Pima community colleges granted qualified DREAMers in-state tuition last year, as have many other states around the country.
