ST. GEORGE, Utah -- An Arizona probation officer was shot in the leg in southern Utah and authorities have only a vague description of the suspect.
St. George police said they responded to the shooting about 6:20 a.m. Tuesday.
The male officer from Mohave County had been shot in the upper leg and was taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center with injuries that don't appear to be life-threatening.
The suspect is described as 6 feet tall with a slender build. Authorities said the shooter, whose gender was unclear, was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and a white hockey mask.
