PHOENIX — Downtown Chandler will pack two seasons into one Saturday, celebrating fall and kicking off Christmastime at Rock the Block.
The yearly block party starts at 11 a.m. and runs until 8 p.m. The event features two stages devoted to local musicians and dancers. Over 100 vendors will be selling food, drinks and arts and crafts.
Kids will be able to take a trip on a zip-line and play in a bounce house. Adults can take a break in the beer garden.
Before the end of the night, the Christmas lights in the downtown area will be turned on.
Arizona Avenue will be closed from Chandler Boulevard to Frye Road.
