PHOENIX — Phoenix is asking for donations to help the city’s homeless population stay warm this winder.
The city is hoping to collect blankets (both new and lightly used), warm clothing and hygiene products that can be used by all age groups, including children.
All items donated are tax-deductible, according to information from the city. Large donations should be arranged through a city coordinator.
Donations can be dropped off at one of three Phoenix Family Service Centers. They are located at 4732 S. Central Ave., 3454 N. 51st Ave. and 914 W. Hatcher Rd.
The donations will be disbursed at numerous shelters and missions around the city.
The collection period runs through March.
