PHOENIX — A young child was pulled out of a Phoenix pool on Monday, a fire official said.
“The child was riding a bike around a pool area and fell off of the bike, hit his head and went into the pool,” said Phoenix Fire Department Capt. Jonathan Jacobs, adding that family members pulled him out of the pool and performed CPR.
The 4-year-old boy was alert and breathing when crews arrived on the scene.
The child was hospitalized in stable condition. Jacobs said the hospitalization was precautionary.
