PHOENIX - Tempe Police say 12-year-old girl who had been missing since Friday morning has been found safe and reunited with her family.

Danee Brooks was last seen leaving her home Friday morning, near Apache Blvd. and Terrace Road. She may have been seen by a student at a school dance on Friday night, said Gregory Duarte, a spokesman for the Tempe Police Department.

Police did not elaborate on where the girl was found or where she might have been since Friday.
