PHOENIX -- A man suspected of killing four neighbors and two dogs before taking his own life had anger issues, his ex-wife said.

"I had often told Mike your anger is going to kill you," she told KTVK-TV. "Your anger is going to be the death of you."

The woman, who refused to be identified, claimed she had been married to Michael Guzzo for several years. She also she was a behavioral health nurse and believed her ex-husband suffered from mental health issues, but he refused to seek treatment.

The woman said the family that Guzzo killed was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

According to Guzzo's blog, Guzzo was retired after a successful career. He was a pharmacist and had his own company.

Police believe that Guzzo killed his neighbors after becoming enraged. He may have felt the neighbor's dogs barked too much.
