TUCSON, Ariz. -- Authorities have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a man at a Tucson apartment complex.
Tucson police say 33-year-old Donald Woods turned himself in Tuesday to a U.S. Marshals task force after speaking with an attorney.
Woods has been booked into Pima County jail on one count of first-degree murder and one count of prohibited possessor.
Investigators say Woods is suspected of fatally wounding 28-year-old Brandon Luster on Oct. 16.
Officers responding to reports of several shots fired at the apartment complex discovered Luster in the parking lot.
Luster was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Police say one or more people involved in the shooting had gang affiliations.
