PHOENIX -- Phoenix police said two people have been found shot to death in a midtown residence.

Sgt. Trent Crump said the bodies of a 25-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl were found late Monday night in a bed in a guest house near 28th Street and Osborn Road.

According to Crump, another man, who has been identified as Hector Karaca, was seen with the couple before the bodies were discovered by relatives of the male victim.

Police recovered the dead man's vehicle, a white 2005 Hyundai Elantra, near 20th Avenue and Tonto Street, a few hours later. It had been set on fire.
