TUCSON, Ariz. -- Authorities in Tucson said no injuries were reported but that approximately 70 people were forced out of a hotel because of a fire in a room.

Fire Capt. Chris Jurvig said the adult, child and two dogs in the room where the fire started made it out safely and that firefighters evacuated other people in the three-story hotel.

Cause of the fire is under investigation and a damage estimate was not immediately released.

Jurvig said 28 firefighters from nine units responded.
