Ex-con sentenced in Glendale in shooting, sex case
PHOENIX -- A convicted felon accused of shooting the parents of a 15-year-old Glendale girl he was romantically involved with has been sentenced to 45 years in prison.
Maricopa County prosecutors said 29-year-old Bryan Jay Boesch was sentenced Friday for attempted murder and sexual conduct with a minor.
He was charged with committing the offenses late last year while on parole after serving five years in prison for armed robbery.
Glendale police said a man and his wife were found wounded in their home on Dec. 20.
Prosecutors said Boesch waived his right to a trial and agreed to plead guilty.
His sentence includes two consecutive 22 1/2-year terms for attempted murder and one concurrent 1 1/2-year sentence for the sexual conduct charge. Boesch also must register as a sex offender.
