Woman at Mesa preschool arrested for restraining toddler

PHOENIX — A child caregiver has been charged with child abuse and unlawful imprisonment after a toddler was found restrained at a Mesa preschool on Thursday, police said.
Lauren Miller, 22, has been charged on four counts.
Police were responding to a complaint of child abuse at Cholla Montessori Preschool, located at 2243 E. University Drive, when they found the child in restraints in a sleeping area.
Police said the child was not treated for injuries. She is currently in the care of her parents.
