PHOENIX -- The Arizona Humane Society will offer a free spay and neuter service Thursday.

The service is being offered at AHS' Sunnyslope Public Clinic, located at 1311 W. Hatcher Rd. in Phoenix.

Check-in for the free service begins at 6 a.m. and is first-come, first-served. Space is limited.

Those bringing their pets in should not feed them for 12 hours prior to surgery. They must be 2-months-old and weigh at least three pounds.

Pets will be ready for pick-up the same day.
