Truck rollover, fire slow traffic on Loop 101/Chandler south

PHOENIX — A cement-mixing truck rolled over and caught fire on southbound Loop 101 at Chandler Boulevard on Thursday morning, but no serious injuries were reported.

Several other vehicles were also involved in the wreck and the ramp was closed for several hours, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. The early-morning rain sprinkles weren’t believed to have been a cause of the crash.

The fire was out in minutes.
