FLORENCE, Ariz. -- A Dec. 16 trial date has been set for Casa Grande's former finance director accused in a domestic violence case.

Pinal County prosecutors say 55-year-old Diane Archer is facing three felony counts and one misdemeanor.

She accused of aggravated assault, failing to comply with a police officer and two counts of criminal property damage.

Archer was arrested June 24 after she allegedly rammed her car into a pickup owned by her ex-fiance.

She was put on administrative leave by Casa Grande's city manager the following day.

Archer submitted her resignation July 19, the same day she pleaded not guilty to the charges in county Superior Court.

Archer had worked as the city's finance director since August 2008.

A final status review hearing in Archer's case is scheduled for Nov. 5.
