PHOENIX -- A teenager has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting a 20-year-old man whose body was found on a Phoenix street.

Phoenix police say the 17-year-old boy has been booked into the juvenile detention center on suspicion of second-degree murder.

The Associated Press is withholding the teenager's name because he's a minor.

Police haven't identified the victim yet.

The shooting occurred Sunday evening in the downtown Phoenix area.

Police say several people were observed running from the scene following a loud argument and that a crowd was surrounding the body when officers arrived.

Detectives have learned there was an ongoing dispute between the man and the teenager and there was some sort of altercation before the shooting occurred.
