Fire set off at Glendale mobile home, cause unknown

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Fire Department responded to a mobile home fire at 20650 N. 38th Drive in Glendale early Sunday morning.
According to officials with the PFD, the fire was reported at 4 a.m. Three adults escaped along with several of their pets.
The owners of the mobile home had five adult dogs and six puppies.
Unfortunately, the mother of the puppies ran back into the home looking for them and perished.
At this time, members of the PFD are assisting family with shelter. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
