CAMP VERDE, Ariz. -- Authorities say a Camp Verde teenager is in custody for allegedly bringing two guns to his former high school and threatening to shoot a student.

The Camp Verde Marshal's Office says the 16-year-old boy was upset about someone throwing eggs at a friend's vehicle.

He went to a football game at Camp Verde High School on Wednesday night and confronted an 18-year-old girl, accused her of the egging incident and allegedly threatened to shoot her.

Authorities say a rifle and a shotgun were later found in the boy's vehicle.

He was booked into the Yavapai County Juvenile Detention Facility on suspicion of threatening or intimidating and possession of a deadly weapon on school grounds.

Authorities say the teen was expelled from Camp Verde High School last year. His name hasn't been released.
