PHOENIX -- Police say a father accused of abducting his 5-month-old daughter in Yuma, Ariz., and heading to Nevada has been arrested off Interstate 15 in Utah.

Yuma police Detective Rene Angulo tells The Associated Press the child was found unharmed when 47-year-old Jeffrey Brian Green was arrested about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday by the Utah Highway Patrol near St. George.

Angulo says Green was sought on a felony warrant charging him with custodial interference.

It wasn't clear if Green was armed at the time.

An Amber Alert issued about 2 p.m. in southern Nevada said Green was driving a lime green 1997 Dodge pickup truck with flame detailing and Arizona license plates and might have a gun.

Angulo says prosecutors will seek his return in custody to Yuma to face charges.

Anyone with information about the kidnapping is asked to contact the Yuma Police Department at (928) 373-4700.
