Harkins offering free movies, drink upgrades for anniversary

PHOENIX — Harkins Theatres is offering free movies and drink upgrades to mark the Valley-based chain’s 80th anniversary.

Through Sept. 26, moviegoers can get a free upgrade to the next-largest size of a soft drink and free refills on large and extra large sodas on the same day.

From Sept. 20 through Sept. 26, Harkins statewide will be offering two free movie tickets per person for some recent favorites. The films offered will alternate and tickets are only available at the box office. A full list of the theatres and the films they are offering is below.
