Metro Phoenix man pleads guilty to murder in dumped body case
PHOENIX -- A Glendale man has pleaded guilty to murder and other charges stemming from the killing of a man whose body was burned and dumped near the White Tank Mountains.
A Maricopa County Superior Court spokeswoman said Daniel Griffith pleaded guilty Monday to second-degree murder, abandonment or concealment of a body and fraudulent use of a credit card.
Griffith is to be sentenced Oct. 17.
His wife, Jennifer Griffith, awaits trial.
